What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"This is the parka I recommend when someone needs maximum warmth and real wet-weather protection. The DryVent shell keeps the down dry even in sleet, and the combo of down in the torso with synthetic in moisture-prone zones makes a huge difference. It’s warm, durable, and built to handle the worst winter throws at you."We count on the Arctic Down Parka when winter brings the full mix—snow, sleet, frigid temps, and everything in between. The North Face solves a problem many down coats struggle with by pairing lofty 600-fill down warmth with a fully waterproof DryVent shell that keeps moisture out and protects the insulation inside. Side panels filled with Heatseeker Eco synthetic insulation stay warm even when damp, helping the parka maintain its insulating power in unpredictable weather. With a mid-thigh length for added coverage, a smooth protective storm flap, and cozy faux-fur trim at the hood, this parka handles wet streets and icy commutes with ease. Recycled materials deliver a lower-impact construction, and practical pocketing keeps essentials close. Whether we’re navigating snowy city blocks or braving a cold snap on the go, the Arctic Down Parka keeps us confidently warm and dry.
