Test Procedure for Walgreens One Step Pregnancy Test
Remove the overcap.
Hold the thumb grip of the test stick and position the device so that the results window is facing you.
Test Procedure: Two options available
Option A)
Turn the device so that the absorbent tip on the test stick is pointing downward and stream the urine on the absorbent tip of the test stick for 5 seconds. Remove the test stick from the stream and place the overcap over the wet absorbent tip, keeping absorbent tip pointed down.
Option B)
Alternatively, you may immerse the exposed wick of the test stick into a clean dry cup with urine for 5 seconds. Important: Do not allow the urine level to go above the plastic housing of the test stick. Replace the overcap over the wet absorbent tip.
Remove the test stick from the urine stream and replace the overcap over the wet absorbent tip. At this point, don't invert the test stick. Place the test stick on a flat surface with the result window facing up. Read the results after 3 minutes.

Important note regarding negative results: Some pregnant women will not be able to detect hCG in their urine 5 days before the expected period. If you test negative before you miss your period but think you may still be pregnant, you should test again a few days after you miss your period.
Important note regarding positive results: Because this test detects low levels of hCG, it is possible that this test may give positive results even if you are not pregnant. If you test positive, but think you may not be pregnant, you should check with your doctor.
All results should be confirmed by your healthcare provider, especially when making decisions about future medical care.
