Madagascar's links to raffia are well-recorded back to at least the 19th century, with the skill of weaving the raffia palm's leaves being passed down through generations of craftswomen. This rendition of Maje's Clover bag features all the expected clover hardware, but swaps leather for the island's artisanal expertise, working with the island's craftspeople to hand-knit each unique bag.
