Micronized Shells: Natural silica powder from diatoms, tiny algae, used as a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells from the surface.
Shea Butter: Commonly found in lotions and cleansers, it hydrates, prevents dehydration, restores suppleness, and enhances the appearance of dry skin.
Willow Herb: Known for its antimicrobial and soothing properties, it benefits the skin.
Dispense a nickel-sized amount into the palm of your hand.
Apply gently to clean, damp skin in an upward and outward circular motion, avoiding the eye area.
For targeted body areas (hands, elbows, back, decollete), apply in a similar fashion.
Continue treatment for approximately 30 seconds, but no more than two minutes.
You can increase pressure slightly to enhance results, but monitor skin sensitivity closely.
Rinsing:
With your eyes closed, rinse with cool water.
Gently pat dry.
Expect some redness as skin is re-texturized.
Aftercare:
To soothe the skin after treatment, it's recommended to use this formula with Kiehl's Dermatologist Solutions' Centella Recovery Skin-Salve.
